Gregory Carlson - Greg is a founding principal of Carlson Capital Management. His primary responsibilities include managing client relationships and developing and setting the vision for the firm. Greg is a 1982 graduate of St. Olaf College with a BA in Economics. He has provided investment counsel and financial advice to clients for over 20 years. Early in his career he recognized the importance of further study and earned the designation Certified Financial Planner®. He worked fours years with IDS/American Express as a financial planner and manager and then started Carlson Capital Management in 1986. Greg has served in leadership roles on numerous boards and committees of civic, professional and religious organizations including Rotary, the Northfield Area Foundation, Minnesota Center for Philanthropy, Bethel Lutheran Church, Mount Carmel Ministries, St. Olaf College, TIAA-CREF Institute and FSC Securities Corporation. He is a speaker on topics of financial, estate and philanthropic planning. Greg, his wife, Nancy and their three daughters live in Northfield.

Jeffrey Carlson - Jeffrey R. Carlson is a founding principal of Carlson Capital Management. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics, with concentrations in finance and accounting, from St. Olaf College in 1983. Jeff began his financial planning career with IDS Financial Services. In 1985, Jeff acquired the Certified Financial Planner® designation.

Jeff is actively involved in marketing the firm’s financial, estate and tax planning services. Jeff’s public speaking engagements have included such topics as retirement and early retirement, estate and philanthropic planning.

Jeff is an active Rotarian and past president of the Hastings Area Rotary Club, former council member and past President of St. Philips Lutheran Church in Hastings, MN. He is also an active alumnus of St. Olaf College, and currently the Class of ’83 Correspondent and Class Fund Agent. Jeff is an avid tennis player and serves as a volunteer coach to the Hastings High School Tennis Team. He also serves on the board of the following non-profit organizations: Green Lake Lutheran Ministries, MN Chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Hastings YMCA. Jeff, his wife, Stacy, and their three children live in Hastings, Minnesota.

Justin Stets - Justin D. Stets is a principal of Carlson Capital Management. Justin's primary responsibilities include managing client relationships, and directing the firm's human and capital resources. Before joining Carlson in 1998, Justin spent eleven years with Wells Fargo Corporation. Principal experiences at Wells included lending to high net worth clients and brokering commercial banks. Justin graduated from St. Olaf College cum laude in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Latin, Greek and Theology. He is a Phi Beta Kappa alumnus. In 1987, he received his Master's Degree in Theological Studies from Harvard University.

Justin is a current Board Member and former President of the Northfield Community Action Center, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide food, shelter and clothing to all residents of need in the Northfield Area. Justin is also a board member of the National Independent Trust Company, a one billion trust holding company located in Ruston, LA. He is former President and Board Member of the Ronald McDonald House of the Twin Cities. Justin is an actively involved in the Catholic community of St. Dominic in Northfield and has held various leadership positions therein. Justin, his wife, Kristin, and their four children live in Northfield, Minnesota.
